Ayers Appointed New General Manager in Nashville

Nashville, TN – Choptank Transport is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Ayers as General Manager of Choptank Transport’s Nashville,Tennessee office.  

 

In this position, Ayers will be in charge of new business development and acquisition, carrier relations, recruiting for new logistics and sales positions as well as overseeing daily operations.  

 

Ayers has extensive experience in supply chain management.  He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Logistics and Transportation Management.  He began his career with Swift Transportation where he held several managerial roles over a 12-year period. Ayers was also with Conard Logistics, a transportation brokerage company in LaVergne,Tennessee.

 

An active member of the American Trucking Association, Transportation Club of North America, and The University of Tennessee Alumni Group, Ayers lives with his wife and newborn son, Tucker, in Murfreesboro,Tennessee.
