Covey & Regulski Promoted

Preston, MDChoptank Transport is pleased to announce the recent promotion of two of its senior management staff.

 

Steve Covey, formerly Vice President of Business Development & Marketing, has been promoted to Executive Vice President.  He will now be overseeing all aspects of Choptank’s sales and operations functions with an emphasis on strategic planning and growth initiatives. Covey has his BS from University of Maryland and his MBA from Salisbury University. He has been with the company since 2004.

 

Dave Regulski has been promoted from Director of Operations to Vice President of Business Development. His focus will be on continued development of our outside offices with an emphasis on cold starts, supervising staffing, sales and operations. Regulski has been with the company since 1999. 

 

Choptank Transport has grown from 36 employees in 2009 to currently more than 150 staff members covering sales, logistics, accounting and administrative positions. As the company expands, those who show exemplary leadership skills, dedication and initiative are being promoted.
