Preston, MD – Choptank Transport is pleased to announce this year’s food bank scholarship winners, Tanya Opperman from the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana and Dave Love from the Food Bank for the Heartland, located in Omaha, Nebraska.

Every year Choptank Transport selects two winners, through Feeding America’s network of food banks, to receive $2,000.00 in scholarship awards.  Each $1,000.00 scholarship is awarded to a food bank employee who has wanted to participate in the annual Food Sourcing and Operations (FSOP) conference, but has not had the resources to do so.
