FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Choptank Transport Kicks off New Recruiting Campaign

PRESTON, MD – Choptank Transport, a full-service logistics provider in Preston, Maryland, has just kicked off its new hiring initiative, “Rock-It Hire.”

The company expanded its 8,000 square-foot headquarters in December 2010 with an additional 9,000 square feet and has hired more than 40 new employees since the completion of the new building annex. Within the next few months, however, the new Rock-it Hire campaign is designed to accelerate this hiring process and create an additional 50 positions in the Preston office, as well as several in the company’s Atlanta and Nashville locations.

New employees at Choptank go through an intensive, in-house training course that prepares them with supply-chain management tools and familiarizes them with Choptank’s own TMS (transportation management system) and other important resources. This gives every new hire the foundation to give our customers and carriers the highest level of service right out of the starting gate.

Choptank Transport is anything but your average employer.  In addition to a healthcare plan and 401K, the company offers generous incentive plans, room for advancement, and an upbeat, enthusiastic work environment. The new, modern facility has two new kitchens, a state-of-the art exercise room, and a bright, cheerful atmosphere.

Interested candidates are encouraged to review our job postings, or call 800-568-2240 to speak with the Rock-It Hire recruiter.
